Registration Process

1) Link Aadhaar: A feature enables beneficiaries/operators to link the aadhaar numbers for the cards generated without the aadhaar eKYC process.

2) Add Member: A feature is enabled for beneficiaries/operators to add a new member to the existing family.

3) Redo e-KYC: This feature allows beneficiaries/operators to redo the eKYC process to update the latest photo/address.

4) Check Status: Feature is enabled for beneficiaries/operators to check the card status and download an e-card

Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme

What: Financial assistance to economically disadvantaged women aged 25-60 enrolled in the 'Swasthya Sathi' scheme

Who: Women from economically weaker sections of society in the age group of 25-60 years 

Benefits: It provides women from ST and SC with 1000 rs per month while giving women from non-ST and SC households 500 rs per month.

Eligibility: Resident of West Bengal | Female aged 25-60 | Enrolled under the "Swasthyasathi" scheme | Not a government employee 

Documents required: Swasthyasathi Card | Aadhaar Card | SC/ST Certificate, if applicable | Bank Account Details: Self-attested photocopy of the page of the bank book which provides details of the account holder's name, account no., bank address, IFSC, and MICR No. The bank account should be a single bank account in name of the eligible adult female member only | Colored passport-size photograph of the applicant | Self-declaration signed by the applicant affirming WB residency and she does not earn any monthly remuneration/pension from any regular job of State Government, Statutory Bodies, Government Undertakings, Panchayats, Municipal Corporations/ Municipalities, Local Bodies, Government aided Educational Institutions and that  Information furnished by her in the application form is true

Registration Process:

Step 1: The scheme’s application form will be available free of cost at the Duare Sarkar Camps. The applicant will submit the filled-in, duly signed application form along with self-attested copies of the required documents at one of the Duare Sarkar Camps.

Step 2: The applications received at the Duare Sarkar camp will be duly enquired into as per Duare Sarkar modalities by government officials authorized only for the purpose. After verification/inquiry, the Block Development Officer in the rural area or the Sub-Divisional Officer in the urban area, as the case may be, shall enter the applications on the portal, verify and recommend the list of eligible applicants to the District Magistrate for sanction. (If the areas fall within Kolkata Municipal Corporation's jurisdiction, the Commissioner of Kolkata Municipal Corporation will complete the same process.)

Step 3: The Commissioner of Kolkata Municipal Corporation shall be the sanctioning authority for applicants residing in areas under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. In all other cases, the District Magistrate will be the sanctioning authority.

Step 4: The financial assistance sanctioned under the scheme will be credited monthly through DBT (Direct Bank Transfer) to the Aadhaar-linked bank account held solely by the eligible adult female member/s of the household.

Rupashree Prakalpa Scheme

What: The scheme aims to provide one-time financial assistance for the marriage of upto 2 daughters.

Who: The scheme applies to the girl child of a family residing in West Bengal. The family's annual income should be less than or equal to Rs. 1.5 lakhs.

Benefits: Receive a one-time financial assistance of Rs. 25,000 for the marriage of their daughters. The amount is directly transferred to the bank account of the girl's parents or guardians.

Eligibility: The scheme can be availed for the marriage of a girl who is 18 years of age or above. The scheme is only applicable to marriages within the state of West Bengal. The scheme also encourages girls to continue their education by mandating those girls who have received the benefits of the Rupashree Prakalpa Scheme must have completed at least 10th standard or equivalent education.The scheme can be availed for the marriage of a girl who is 18 years of age or above. It can be applied for three months before the date of marriage and up to one year after the date of marriage. The scheme can be availed for the marriage of only two daughters of a family.
